  4. This is my 2nd favorite from Shanice after Inner Child. The highlight on this album is "Turn Down The Lights," which showcases her amazing vocal abilities. Other great songs are "Somewhere," "Don't Break My Heart," and "I Wish." This deserved more success than what it got. I recommend this album to anyone who loves s R&B music. My rating: 9.
  5. Considering the other R&B hits on radio at the time (Boyz II Men’s I’ll Make Love to You and TLC’s Red Light Special), 21 Ways to Grow should’ve had some #1 hits. Don’t Break My Heart, Turn Down the Lights and I Wish was in the same ranks as these songs. Never Changing Love was another I Love Your Smile in the making.

The lyrics are very elementary, the overall production is just okay, but, as usual, her voice is on point and beautiful as ever, and sometimes it makes you forget that the album itself is just /5(14).
